About Suzanne Fletcher
Suzanne Fletcher, ASID, has a well-rounded background in interior design. She studied interior design at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received a B.F.A. degree. Her design experience of over twenty years began in the commercial field, working at architectural firms as part of the design team designing schools, libraries, banks and offices. She lived in the San Francisco area for ten years, where she was influenced by a diverse population with different tastes and design.
As owner and sole proprietor of Suzanne Fletcher Interiors since 1997, she has established herself in residential interiors as well as the commercial field. Her goal is to emulate a client’s style or image that he/she wishes to project. Her strengths lie in her eye for color and envisioning a space, a result of her design experience and many years of art classes.
Asked “What inspires her?” she’ll answer “What is the client passionate about?” Whether an image, family heirloom or piece of art, that becomes the forefront of her design process. “Less is more” is also the focus of any design, which she believes makes the most visual impact.
Suzanne Fletcher is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, where she stays current on the latest design trends, codes and products. She became a NCIDQ certified designer in 1989.
